Anvar Avazkhuzhayev, a close partner of the NOC, has turned 75 years old!
Anvar Avazkhuzhayev, a professional photographer and cameraman, a famous representative of Uzbek sports, has turned 75 years old today.
Anvar Avazkhuzhayev was born in 1946 in Tashkent. Since its foundation, the NOC of Uzbekistan has been a close partner of the Committee. So far, as part of the delegation of Uzbekistan, he has participated in 7 Olympic Games (6 summer and 1 winter), as well as at the Asian Games and many other major competitions. Most of the archive, which is stored in the NOC media group, is the work of this talented person. During his career, he was a cameraman for Uzbektelefilm, shot more than 400 documentaries, about 50 of them are devoted to Uzbek sports.
The birthday of this famous person, who forms the history of Uzbek sports, was worthily celebrated. The solemn event was held in the NOC and was attended by the leadership of the Committee headed by Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov, head of the sports department of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Bahodir Tojiev.
Speaking at the event, the officials thanked Anvar Avazkhuzhayev for his fruitful work in Uzbek sports and presented him with memorable gifts.
