Hangzhou-2022, Paris-2024: Tanzila Narbayeva and Aziz Abdukhakimov got acquainted with the plans for training cyclists

The Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan held a presentation on the preparations for the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Games and the Paris-2024 Olympic Games. The event was attended by Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, as well as responsible persons of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the presentation, the Secretary General of the Federation, Kozim Urinboykhuzhayev, reported in detail on the implemented plans in preparation for Hangzhou-2022 and Paris-2024.

 

The proposals of the former mentor of the Russian national team and the coach of the American professional team "Novo Nordisk" from 2011 to 2020, Gleb Groisman, who was invited to prepare the members of the Uzbek national team for these international competitions, were heard. Currently, Groysman is in the capital.

The officials stressed the need to create all conditions for cyclists, solve existing problems and develop programs and projects that will motivate athletes. It was noted that it is necessary to use international experience in preparing for the competition.

 

The meeting also included a presentation of a professional club created to prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France) and increase the number of licenses.
