The sports festival has begun for Kashkadarya youth
Recently, a working group headed by the first deputy chairman of the NOC Ravshan Irmatov visited the Kashkadarya region and gave appropriate instructions to strengthen the promotion of sports among young people, popularize a healthy lifestyle in the region. It should be noted that the regional and district khokimiyats, together with the National Olympic Committee and the main departments of tourism and sports of the Kashkadarya region, have already begun to implement a number of plans in this direction.
Currently, the "Small Olympic Games"are being held in the region. In particular, competitions in certain sports are organized in each district. To date, volleyball competitions have been held in Guzar, in Karshi — in judo, and in Dehkanabad - in the national type of wrestling (kurash). Especially, the Kurash competition in Dehkanabad has turned into a real holiday for the local population.
The awarding ceremony was attended by the khokim of the district Zoir Alikulov, as well as representatives of the regional sports department and the NOC and awarded the winners with gifts.
