Our cyclist Sofia Karimova became a prize-winner at an international tournament
The women's tournament "Grand Prix Velo Manavgat" took place in Turkey. Sofia Karimova from the Tashkent city professional cycling team took the third place in the competitions at a distance of 99.6 km.
Also at this tournament, Nafosat Kozieva entered the top 14 cyclists, Madina Kakhhorova 26th, Shanoza Abdullayeva 29th, Anna Kuskova 32nd, Elena Zaitseva 36th, Anna Kulikova and Irina Brezina took 39th and 40th places respectively. Another athlete Margarita Misyurina became the 45th. Unfortunately, our leader Yanina Kuskova was forced to replace the wheel of her bike and lost a lot of time because of this. In the end, she finished 48th.
It should be noted that a total of 58 cyclists took part in the tournament, of which 5 could not reach the finish line.
