Congratulations to Sharofiddin Boltaboev and Zainab Dayibekova!
Today two famous athletes from Karakalpakstan Sharofiddin Boltaboev and Zainab Dayidekova celebrate their birthday.
Sharofiddin Boltaboev was born on November 19, 1995. During his career, the judoka twice reached the final at the Asian championships. Winner of the 2019 Tashkent Grand Prix and silver medalist of the Paris and Tashkent Grand Slam tournaments this year, as well as many other prestigious competitions. In the weight category up to 81 kg, he defended the honor of our country at the Tokyo Olympics.
Zainab Dayibekova was born in 2002. Despite her young age, our fencer worthily defends the honor of our country at competitions among adults. It is noteworthy that she is our first athlete to win the Fencing World Cup. Dayibekova achieved this success at the 2019 youth tournament. Also last year, following the results of the National Sports Award, she became the winner in the nomination "The best young and promising athlete of the Year". In Tokyo 2020, she became the first Russian athlete to get into the top eight at the Olympic Games. For the achieved results, she was awarded the medals “Shukhrat” and “Zhasorat”.
