The delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the international forum "Russia-a sports country"
On behalf of our delegation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov and IOC Secretary General Oibek Kasimov are taking part in official events within the framework of the first CIS Games held in Kazan.
In particular, the international forum “Russia – a sports country”was held within the framework of the competition. It was also attended by official representatives of the CIS Games participating countries in the sports field. Aziz Abdukhakimov and Oybek Kasimov took part in these events on behalf of our country.
During the event, the officials met with the President of the NOC of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko, the Minister of Tourism and Sports Sergey Kovalchuk and a number of other representatives of the delegations and discussed a number of plans.
The International forum will last for two days. It held seminars and trainings on achievements in the field of sports, the latest methods and innovative ideas, as well as on the latest innovations in a number of areas. Also during the visit, representatives of our delegation met with the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matitsyn and a number of other officials.
