The leadership of the NOC and the Olympians became members of UzLiDeP
The cooperation of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan and UzLiDeP continues. Today, the leadership of the NOC and several of our Olympians were awarded party badges.
The event was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his first deputy Ravshan Irmatov, Deputy chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council UzLiDeP Dilshod Shoumarov, Chairman of the Tashkent City Council Ravshan Fozilov and his deputy Bobur Rasulov, champion of the Barcelona-1992 Olympic Games in gymnastics Oksana Chusovitina, Olympic champion of Tokyo 2020 in Taekwondo Ulugbek Rashitov, as well as a number of famous Uzbek athletes, representatives of federations and associations.
During the event, representatives of UzLiDeP noted bilateral cooperation and long-term plans.
"First of all, I would like to sincerely congratulate you on your success at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. We are very glad that such champions as you have become members of our party. According to the memorandum signed between our party and the National Olympic Committee, we are implementing several projects. Since the creation of our party, we have always won every election. This is because we support ideas that our people like. Tomorrow, at the next congress, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will share our new plans, " Dilshod Shoumarov said.
Then Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, Ravshan Irmatov, several famous athletes, the leadership of the WT Taekwondo Association were awarded party badges.
Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov also spoke at the event and noted the cooperation of the Committee with UzLiDeP, which continues consistently. Also, the head stressed the attention paid by our President to the development of sports. After that, the leadership of UzLiDeP was presented with memorable gifts of the NOC.
