Zhavrail Shapiev competed with the Olympic and world champion
Our freestyle wrestlers started participating in the Tokyo Olympics. Among them, Zhavrail Shapiev was the first to speak.
His opponent was the champion of Rio 2016, two-time winner of the world championship Hassan Yazdani from Iran. Shapiyev fought with dignity, but in the end Yazdani won and went to the next stage. If the Iranian wrestler reaches the final, Shapiyev will retain the opportunity to compete for bronze.
