Today, a well-known figure who has made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek sports for many years, chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov celebrates his birthday.
Mahsitov Bahodir Mahsitovich was born on July 30, 1948 in the Tashkent region. In 1976, he graduated from Tashkent State University. After graduation, Bahodir Mahsitovich worked for many years in the judicial and legal system, including in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1994-1995, he was the khokim of the Bukin district of the Tashkent region. For eight years (1995-2002), he headed the State Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2002-2003, he worked in the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since December 2020, he has been the chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan and has made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek sports. For his many years of work, he was awarded the order "Mehnat Shukhrati", as well as the honorary title "Korakalpogiston Republikasida hizmat kursatgan mazhaniyat Khodimi".
