A few minutes earlier, the fourth competitive day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games started. As part of this day, the judoka Farangiz Khozhieva (-63 kg) was the first to start.
Khozhieva went to the tatami with the representative of Cape Verde-Sandrine Billet. Sandrine used a painful technique against Khozhieva, which ensured her victory. It should be noted that at the second stage, Billet should hold a fight against five-time world champion Clarisse Agbenenu from France.
