The Chairman of the NOC visited sports bases and got acquainted with the epidemiological situation
According to the decision of the Republican Commission, new quarantine requirements will be introduced starting tomorrow. Today, the chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, visited the sports bases and got acquainted with the created conditions.
Currently, some teams that are preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are located in the training bases "Yangiabad" and "Dukent" in the Tashkent region. The Chairman of the NOC was accompanied by the director of the RNPCSM at the NOC, Abdushukur Sadikov. Also, the khokim of the city of Angren, Shukurulla Makhmudov, took part in the meetings.
During the visit, the leaders visited the training bases for boxing, para-athletics, wrestling and taekwondo and got acquainted with the conditions. We met with the coaching staff and doctors, and in connection with the deterioration of the epidemiological situation, we gave appropriate instructions to take the necessary measures to protect the health of our athletes, establish strict control at the bases, and also comply with all quarantine requirements.
