The Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan held an event in honor of the "International Olympic Day"
June 23 is the International Olympic Day. In honor of this significant date, events are held all over the world, including in Uzbekistan.
One of these events was held at the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan under the slogan "Hope and Faith". It was attended by the leadership of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, deputies of the legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the prosecutor of the Chilanzar district, representatives of the Internal Affairs Department, the Tashkent city khokimiyat, Olympic champion Fazliddin Gaibnazarov, young boxers, unorganized youth who are included in the list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, media representatives.
The speakers during the event noted the importance of carrying out such works to attract young people to sports and a healthy lifestyle. Performances with the participation of young boxers and boxing meetings left a warm impression on the audience.
Regarding the event, the Secretary General of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan Murojon Mamadaliyev expressed his opinion:
"The Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, together with other responsible organizations, held this holiday in honor of the "International Olympic Day". One of our main goals is to attract young people to sports, in particular, boxing, so that they get on the right path. Our esteemed President pays great attention to sports, especially boxing. In April, the Presidential Decree PP-5099 came into force, which we were very happy about. This document has become a kind of instruction, and is very important for the implementation of our activities. Through such events as today, we introduce young people to the current state of boxing, achievements and arouse their interest in boxing," said Murodjon Mamadaliyev.
At the end of the event, the participants asked questions about boxing, as well as information about the history of Uzbek boxing and the federation's plans for the future.
