The morning starts with a bike ride
As you know, the president of the Asian Cycling Confederation, Osama Ahmad Al-Shaffar, is currently staying in the capital. Early this morning, the guest of honor conducted a bike ride through the streets of the capital. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov and Secretary General of the Cycling Federation Kozim Urinboykhuzhayev. Also, cycling athletes, cultural and art figures, and the media took part in the event.
The bike ride under the slogan "Tashkent-bike city" was held in high spirits. This event was a good opportunity to further popularize cycling, as well as to demonstrate the tourist potential of the country. The responsible persons exchanged opinions on this issue during the walk.
During the day, the guest of honor visited the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, as well as the National Olympic Committee of the country.
