The Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan supports licensees of Tokyo-2020
The Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan is one of the organizations that support the Olympic movement and a healthy lifestyle in our country. Today, the organization congratulated the athletes who won tickets to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and other athletes who are part of the federation and have achieved success on the world arenas.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Kudratilla Rafikov, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, sports veterans, representatives of the public and the media.
Speaking at the beginning of the event, the officials noted that our Esteemed President and the government of the country pay special attention to the development of the sports sphere.
"Currently, our athletes are given due attention, they feel the President's care everywhere and everywhere. We believe that such attention and motivation shown by our government will bear fruit at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, " Chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov said.
During the event, Kudratilla Rafikov said that he was ready to support our athletes in every possible way and create all the necessary conditions for their training. The Federation of Trade Unions also announced that athletes who are members of Trade Unions and have become champions of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be given apartments at the expense of the organization, and cars will be presented to the winners of the Games. Undoubtedly, such motivation will be a powerful impetus for our athletes to achieve new victories.
During the event, Tokyo 2020 licensees who are members of Trade Unions, including weightlifters Akbar Juraev, Muattar Nabieva and Kumushkhon Fayzullayeva, track and field athlete Suhrob Khuzhayev and representative of the rowing team Sobir Safaraliyev, were awarded cash prizes in the amount of 10 million soums, and their coaches received 5 million soums each. In turn, due attention was paid to Mukhammadkadir Toshtemirov, one of the winners and prize-winners of major international competitions.
In turn, our athletes expressed that they are very happy with such attention from our Esteemed President and government, promising to win new victories for the New Uzbekistan.
