A memorandum was signed between the modern pentathlon federations of Uzbekistan and Egypt
The Modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan continues to actively cooperate with leading countries. This time, the federation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation.
On June 8-13, the World Championship in this sport was held in Egypt. Within the framework of the championship, the chairman of the modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Gaziyev, discussed issues of cooperation with the leaders of the modern pentathlon Federation of Egypt.
A memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the modern pentathlon federations of Uzbekistan and Egypt was signed in the building of the country's Olympic Committee. The guests of honor of the event were the president of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon Dr. Klaus Schormann and the Vice-president of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon, the President of the World Association of Olympians, sports adviser to His Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco-Joel Bouzou.
The parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:
- sports of the highest achievements;
- mass sports;
- sports science and sports medicine;
- sports facilities;
- the fight against the use of doping in sports;
- sports management.
It should be noted that modern pentathlon in Egypt is developing rapidly and today the national team of the country is considered one of the strongest in the world. In particular, in the last World Championship, the team won 2 bronze medals.
In one word, the established mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation will serve as a kind of impetus to the development of sports in both countries.
