Our judoists for the first time became prize-winners at the World Cup in the team direction!
The World Judo Championship is coming to an end in Budapest. A few minutes ago, our judoists won a bronze medal in the team direction.
The representatives of Uzbekistan held the first stage against the hosts of the championship and won with a score of 4:2. In the quarterfinals, our judoists overcame the Brazilian national team with a score of 4:0. Unfortunately, the Uzbek team was defeated in the semi-final against the French. The fight for bronze against South Korea ended in favor of our national team with a score of 4: 1.
Thus, the national team of Uzbekistan completed this World Championship with 1 silver (in the individual direction) and 1 bronze (in the team direction).
