Diera Keldierova will fight for bronze
The second day of the World Judo Championship in Budapest is taking place. A few minutes ago, our judoka Diera Keldierova (-52 kg) entered the tatami in the semifinals.
Unfortunately, in a fight with an experienced Ai Shisheme from Japan, Diera Keldierova missed an opportunity. Thus, in the evening program, Keldierova will fight with Gefen Primo from Israel for bronze.
It should be noted that four years ago Diera and Primo faced off at the Grand Prix tournament in Antalya and then a judoka from Israel won. We hope that this time our girl will be able to take revenge and compare the score.
We remind you that the judoists who won the fifth place at the World Championships have a chance to record 720 points for the world and Olympic rankings, and the bronze medalist-1000 points. Unfortunately, another one of our representatives, Sardor Nurillayev, who spoke today, has completed his participation in the second stage.
