Summer holidays are a great time for sports
The first deputy chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov held an online meeting with representatives of the Committee in the regions. During the event, which was held on the ZOOM platform, issues related to strengthening the promotion of mass sports among young people were discussed.
The agenda included such important areas as summing up the results for the month of May of the Republican competition " Love sports, live with sports!", plans for holding this mass event for June, organizing various sports competitions for young people during the summer holidays, as well as holding a youth month under the slogan "Youth of the New Uzbekistan, let's unite!".
The main topic of the meeting was the holding of sports events "Project Sport and Youth", "Young Chess Player", "Youth Cycling Marathon", which will be organized within the framework of the Youth Month (June). During the meeting, the possibilities of each region for holding these events were studied, possible problems were considered and several issues in this direction were resolved.
