Within the framework of the "Five Initiatives" movement, a modern pentathlon competition was held
As you know, the "Five Initiatives" movement, which was organized by the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, united thousands of our compatriots on the way to promoting mass sports. Within the framework of this event, the "Laser Run" competition was held, where more than 2000 people took part.
"Of the five disciplines of modern pentathlon, the most spectacular is Laser Run (laser-run) — running combined with shooting from a laser pistol. We decided that these competitions would arouse great interest among the youth of our country and we were not mistaken. Whole families took part in the competitions. Teachers competed with their students, whole school classes registered and competed with each other. Uzbek sports stars-Iroda Tulyaganova, Rashvan Irmatov and Server Dzheparov also came to support our federation. In five days we have seen so many smiles, so many joyful emotions, so many shining eyes! It was truly a celebration of sports. I would like to express my special gratitude to the government of our country and the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent for the opportunity to take part in such a large - scale event," said Chairman of the Modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Gaziyev.
