Tursuna Zhabborova became the world champion among young people
The World Youth Weightlifting Championship continues in the capital. A few minutes ago, our girl Tursuna Zhabborova became the champion in the weight category — 87 kg.
According to the results of the jerk and push, as well as the two-man event, Zhabborova beat her rivals by a large margin. In the snatch, she showed a result of 111 kg, and in the clean and jerk of 133 kg (according to the results of the double event, 244 kg).

At the end of the program, the chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, and his first deputy, Ravshan Irmatov, met with the Secretary General of the International Weightlifting Federation, Muhammad Zhalud, and exchanged views on the championship.
