The open championship of Uzbekistan has ended
The open championship of Uzbekistan in athletics has ended in the capital. The competition had an international status and the participants had a chance to win a Tokyo 2020 license by meeting the Olympic standard. Considering this fact, the athletes fought with all their might.
On the first day of the competition, our representative Safina Sadullayeva fulfilled the Olympic standard for high jumping, which greatly inspired the athletes. As part of the second day, such athletes of Uzbekistan as Ruslan Kurbanov, Sukhrob Khuzhaev, Ekaterina Voronina performed. In their areas, they have come very close to meeting the Tokyo 2020 standard. Due to this, they managed to strengthen their positions on the world ranking.
During the competition, the head of the NOC talked with the national team and the coaching staff from all regions. He listened to the existing problems and proposals, and also determined plans for the future.
