In order to implement the Presidential Decree, long-term plans are being implemented
A lot of work is being done to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On additional measures for the further development of horse breeding and equestrian sports, as well as the popularization of modern pentathlon and polo" dated March 11, 2021. A working group headed by the chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and equestrian sports and the Polo Federation of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Gaziev is currently inspecting schools specializing in equestrian sports and large stables throughout the Republic.
First, the responsible persons visited the Samarkand region. And now they are studying the potential of the Andijan region, schools that specialize in equestrian sports and the main stable of the region. It is known that there are many specialists in breeding Akhalteke and Karabair horses in our country. During the visit, the working group reached a number of promising agreements on cooperation with such specialists in the regions. The main goal of such cooperation is to establish the export of horses by increasing the number of thoroughbred horses in the country, for the further development of equestrian sports in Uzbekistan.
During the study, some problems and shortcomings were identified. The managers discussed them and gave appropriate recommendations for their elimination. It should be noted that the leadership of the federation plans to visit all regions of the Republic and study their potential regarding horse breeding and equestrian sports.
