Congratulations to Otabek Umarov!
Today, the Vice-president of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov celebrates his birthday.
Otabek Umarov was born on May 15, 1984. Last year, during the General Assembly of the OCA in Muscat, Otabek Mukhammadalievich was elected to the post of vice-president of the organization. His election to this position is connected with the holding of the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Tashkent. There is no doubt that Otabek Umarov, in his new position, will contribute to demonstrating the potential of the New Uzbekistan to the whole world.
This person has been making a worthy contribution to the development of Uzbek sports for a long time. In particular, during his leadership at the triathlon Federation and the MMA Association, these sports, in particular, the promotion of sports was raised to a new level. For the first time, the GFC-20 tournament and the Uzbek championship were held in Tashkent, which is proof of this. We sincerely believe that thanks to the initiatives of Otabek Umarov, the promotion of sports, a healthy lifestyle and the Olympic Movement will further strengthen not only in our country, but also in Central Asia.
