Our young judoists take part in the Asian Cup
The Asian Judo Cup among juniors and youth has started in Almaty (Kazakhstan). It is noteworthy that more than 100 Uzbek athletes take part in this competition.
According to the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, 116 of our judoists will take to the tatami in this tournament.The team is headed by coach Tohir Fayziev. According to the iegment, young men will compete in 16 weight categories, and young people in 14.
In addition to representatives of Uzbekistan and the hosts of the competition, judoists from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan take part in the Cup. This tournament will serve our coaches to select talented athletes for the national team for major international tournaments that will be held during the year.
