The Chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, pays special attention to such important moments during his visits to sports federations and associations. Today, at a meeting with athletes and representatives of the gymnastics and archery federations, this was particularly noted.
Currently, representatives of the Uzbekistan national rhythmic gymnastics team are in Baku (Azerbaijan). Tomorrow, the third stage of the World Cup will begin here. Seven of our girls will take part in this competition and will fight for valuable rating points Tokyo-2020. Acting Chairman of the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan Ruslan Mustayev told Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov in detail about the family and social status of each athlete. In turn, the head of the NOC also noted that it is necessary to pay even more attention to athletes and that the Head of State personally mentioned this during the meeting that took place a few days ago.
During the day, the chairman of the NOC also visited the base of the Archery Federation. Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov was accompanied by his first deputy Ravshan Irmatov. Representatives of the women's national team also took part in today's conversation. During the meeting, the head of the Committee alternately talked with our archers and asked about their families, close relatives, social conditions. He also said that the state pays more attention to our athletes than ever before, and that the President himself controls this process.
At the end of the events, officials of both federations were instructed to keep in touch with the families of our athletes and monitor their health.
