The victory of Abdurakhmanov and Jalolov, the defeat of Abdullayev in the final by a small margin
The international wrestling tournament has ended in Istanbul. In the program of the last day, our wrestlers fought for medals.
Gulomjon Abdullayev (-61 kg), who defeated all his rivals before the final, lost to Indian Ravi Kumar in the decisive match with a score of 10:11 and won the silver medal.
In the fight for the bronze awards, our wrestlers won a dramatic victory. First Umidjon Jalalov (-65 kg) defeated an opponent from Mongolia with a score of 5:4. Then Bekzod Abdurakhmonov, the winner of Tokyo 2020, got the better of the French wrestler (4:4) in the match for the last point.
Let's remind that before that domestic Greco-Roman wrestlers won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals.
