Thanks to the huge attention of the President, important steps are being taken in the country to strengthen the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, training qualified personnel in this direction. It is appropriate to highlight such significant programs on the example of the Fergana region.

The regional Main Department of Tourism and Sports reported that from the 2022/2023 academic year, an institute of Higher sports skills will be established in the region. Graduates of Olympic and Paralympic Reserve colleges, members of national teams in Olympic sports can study there. They will be accepted selectively on the basis of a state grant, depending on their results. The selection will begin on August 1, 2022.
