A mass race dedicated to the Defender of the Motherland Day has been organized
Running competitions under the motto “I am the winner” were held in our capital today, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Motherland Day.
Servicemen and lovers of a healthy lifestyle took part in the competitions. This tournament, aimed at further strengthening the promotion of mass sports among the population, according to the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, was organized at a distance of 9400 meters. According to the rules of the event, each team consisted of 30 participants, including 3 professional athletes and 3 female athletes.
As for the results of the competition, the representative of the Ministry of Defense Shorukh Davlatov won the gold medal in the overall standings among men, and in the women's part of the competition, Alina Khakimova, who performed as part of the National Guard, rose to the first step of the podium.

The main prize was awarded to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who took first place in the team competition.
The event was watched with great interest by Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov, Chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his first deputy Ravshan Irmatov, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other Organizations. The speakers at the award ceremony expressed their sincere wishes to everyone who continues to work wholeheartedly on the path of developing a healthy lifestyle among the population.
