Elmurat Tasmuradov finished his sports career in the framework of the CHU

As we reported earlier, the championship of the republic in wrestling started today at the Universal sports complex. The first day of the competition was full of a number of interesting events.

An opening ceremony was held before the final matches. It was attended by the Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Chairman of the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan Salim Abduvaliyev and the general sports community.

In turn, Elmurat Tasmuradov announced the end of his sports career and within the framework of the event, high-ranking officials and specialists thanked the winner of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Greco-Roman wrestling, 3-time World Championship medalist, 5-time Asian champion for a worthy contribution to the development of Uzbek wrestling in the international sports arena.

Then the final matches of the national championship took place. Such leaders of the national team of Uzbekistan as Jasur Ortikbayev, Islom Bahromov, Aram Vardanyan, Jalgasbai Berdimuratov, Muminjon Abdullayev once again proved their superiority over their rivals and defended the championship title in their weight categories.
