International seminar for Judges with Armen Bagdasarov

As you know, the Uzbek Judo Championship among adults will start tomorrow in the Yunusabad sports complex in the capital.

Before the last competitions of the year, the Referee Director of the International Judo Federation (IJF), winner of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta Armen Bagdasarov held an international seminar for judges working at the national championship. It was attended by the Georgian referee of the IJF Vladimir Nutsubidze, another compatriot of ours, leading his activities in the International Judo Federation Abdulla Murodov, foreign Olympic category specialists from Uzbekistan Ramziddin Saidov, Vyacheslav Pereteyko, chairman of the jury of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Bahodir Uzakbergenov and other invited referees to work at the republican championship. The event was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the NOC, head of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov.

The seminar, which was led by Armen Yurievich, was organized in accordance with the rules of the IJF. Controversial situations at competitions were discussed on a large monitor.

At the end of the event, Azizjon Kamilov expressed gratitude to the participants and wished them to hold the upcoming tournament at a high level.
