The National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played in honor of our young skewers in Costa Rica
The next stage of the Fencing World Youth Cup took place in the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose. In it, our young skewers showed excellent results.
In singles, two domestic athletes competed for victory in the final. Dilnoz Murtazayeva defeated Sevar Rakhimov with a score of 15:7. Another representative of the Uzbekistan youth fencing team, Shahzoda Egamberdieva, won a bronze medal.
It is pleasant to note that our athletes also performed successfully at team competitions. First, they managed to defeat the Panama squad with a score of 45:20, in the final they defeated the representatives of the hosts of the tournament with a score of 45:30.
