We are looking for solutions to problems in preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games
Thorough comprehensive preparation for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games, the development of the necessary strategy for this are among the main tasks facing each Federation and Associations of Uzbekistan. Today, the management of the NOC in the meeting room of the committee talked in detail with experts on this topic. The event was held by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his deputy Sherzod Tashmatov. It was attended by a responsible employee of the Cabinet of Ministers, directors of Republican schools of higher sports skills, relevant officials of Federations and Associations.
First, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov told about the goals and tasks that they face.
"The preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics is very different from Tokyo 2020. This time we will prepare with new approaches and methodologies. The President supports our preparations for the Olympic Games. Do not forget that many people need to pay attention to the mistakes that were made at the last Olympics, to the existing problems that prevent effective performances in the international sports arena. Especially, the lack of a base for regular training of the main team. Now it's not for nothing that we meet one-on-one with athletes and coaches of each Federation. We have to convince them that they can achieve their goal.In addition, to show that our state fully supports them.”, - said the head of the NOC.
During the meeting, opinions were expressed on the need for early coordination with Federations in need of foreign coaches and specialists, the formation of a list of necessary vitamins and medicines in the field of sports medicine, further strengthening the work of specialists in the regions. The federations were also instructed to study the existing problems as soon as possible and provide suggestions and options that can be solved.
