In the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, an event was held under the motto "Sport against violence"

A number of unpleasant situations that have arisen with our athletes recently require more active work with them in the spiritual and educational sphere. In order to prevent such cases, a spiritual and educational event was held in the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan under the motto: "Sport against violence". It was attended by representatives of relevant organizations, representatives of Federations and Associations, honored guests, athletes and media staff. During the event, the specialists of the sphere informed about the work being carried out in this direction under the leadership of the Government of our country, and the programs being implemented.

The event was opened by the head of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov. During his speech, he noted the relevance of this topic in the modern world:

"Unfortunately, our athletes are also participants in unpleasant situations that have been happening lately. It worries all of us. Therefore, the situation requires even more attention from everyone. We should all seek a solution to this issue together. Today we have gathered to discuss these issues. Obviously, in such situations, it is very important to pay great attention to the spiritual education of young people”"

Deputy Chairman of the NOC, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov also spoke.

"Indeed, the topic of our meeting today is very important. Dear President of our country Shavkat Miromonovich pays great attention to improving the spirituality of our youth. Undoubtedly, there is merit in this and the sports direction. In particular, one of the main tasks facing us is the correct and useful organization of leisure time for young people. We must show and prove to our youth that in their free time they need to play sports, increase spiritual and moral intelligence. There are plenty of examples from history, if we are not engaged in the leisure of our youth, others are engaged in this business. Therefore, we are obliged to attach serious importance to this, to organize meaningful leisure activities for athletes in each team," A.Kamilov said.

Also during the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Prosecutor General's Office, the State Security Service, the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avazjon Karimov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Sports of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov, Director of the Chief Referee of the International Judo Federation Armen Bagdasarov and other officials made their recommendations to athletes participating in the event.
