The Boxing Championship of the Republic promises to be special this year
The Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan attaches special importance to the traditionally held annual national championship.
The competitions will be held from December 8 to December 14 at the Universal sports complex. More importantly, 8 judges from all continents of the world with a 3-star AIBA rating will direct the fights. And this, in turn, will serve to exchange experience with our referees, increase transparency in matches. All the referees who have worked at the Olympic Games and World Championships have a lot of experience behind them. Also, the judges who will lead the fights will be monitored by foreign instructors from the UK and Ukraine. Before the championship, a training seminar for local referees will be held with their participation on December 5-6.
Another important aspect of the championship of Uzbekistan is that at the end of the tournament, the coaching staff of the national team will have the opportunity to qualify for the Asian Games Hangzhou-2022 and the Olympic Games Paris-2024.
