The participants of the regional forum were left with good and vivid impressions

The regional forum of heads of NOCs of the CIS, Baltic States and Georgia has ended in Tashkent. Starting today, the participants of the event are returning to their homeland.

During this forum, which brought together the leaders of the NOCs of 14 countries, a special program was developed for the guests to demonstrate the rich Uzbek culture and art. Within its framework, a tour of Pobeda Park, the Center of Islamic Civilization, the Humo sports complex, and then Samarkand was organized.

In the ancient city, the guests were met by Hakim of the Samarkand region Erkin Turdimov. During the tour, the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov told the guests about our rich culture and history, about the priceless heritage left by our ancestors.

Thus, all the events intended for the participants of the regional forum have been completed, and the delegations are returning home.

Within the framework of the forum, long-term plans to increase the projects of interaction between the participants were discussed. Relevant joint decisions were taken on the issues raised at the meeting, and memorandums of cooperation were signed. We believe that the projects will be crucial for strengthening the promotion of Olympism in the region in the future.
