Cooperation on the way to new successes
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, the equestrian and equestrian sports federations of Uzbekistan, the modern pentathlon and polo federations, the Sports Research Institute in order to conduct training camps, introduce scientific and methodological and innovative technologies in the further improvement of equestrian sports.
The event was attended by Chairman of the three Federation Councils Bahromjon Gaziev, Vice-rector of Uzgua Kamil Bayazitov, Director of the Institute Rashid Matkarimov and a number of industry experts.
It is worth noting that the President of our country signed resolutions on the development of horse breeding and equestrian sports, modern pentathlon and polo in our country. This memorandum of cooperation was a step towards ensuring the implementation of these decisions. In accordance with this, the university and the institute will carry out scientific activities to further strengthen the theoretical knowledge and success of our athletes.
Currently, about 120 students are studying in the direction of equestrian sports in UZGUM. 17 of them are members of the national team.
