The first briefing on the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Games was held
The first briefing of the organizing committee of the XIX Asian Games, which will be held next year in Hangzhou, was held today. Due to the epidemiological situation, the event was held in an online format.
Representatives of the organizing committee, the leadership of the Hangzhou City administration, officials of the National Olympic Committee of China, local media participated in the briefing offline, and leading sports journalists of the continent, representatives of TV channels and others connected online through the ZOOM platform. Representatives of the NOC and leading representatives of the country's media specializing in sports participated in the event on behalf of Uzbekistan.
At the beginning of the event, representatives of the organizing committee told about the preparations for the complex competition, which starts in 327 days. Then the profile specialists informed in detail about the sports that were included in the program of the Asian Games, sports facilities, transport and logistics, media center for the media and other important aspects.
The remarkable thing about Hangzhou-2022 is that Oceania countries will take part in this Asian Games for the first time. Also, information was provided regarding the opening and closing ceremonies of Hangzhou-2022. It is reported that famous representatives of Chinese theater and cinema, as well as specialists who have already worked in large-scale ceremonies, will be involved in the events.
During the briefing, the participants also talked about the simplification of the entry and exit processes in China, as well as about the amenities that will be provided to them.
