Rustam Abdurakhmanov met with the responsible persons of the Children's and Youth Sports School and the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve
As you know, children's and youth sports schools and specialized children's and youth sports schools are educational institutions that provide a powerful reserve for our national teams, regular physical education and sports for our youth. Today, the Chairman of the NOC met with the responsible persons of these institutions.
The event was organized in one of the schools of Almazar district. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Tashkent City Administration of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, heads of youth sports schools and sports schools, employees of the NOC.
"The basis of mass sports propaganda, which is put forward by our President, is directly related to you. To achieve the goals, we all need to establish systematic work. Already now we need to prepare the younger generation for the competitions that will take place after the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Games and the Paris-2024 Olympics. On this occasion, we are discussing new strategic plans with each federation. Yes, there are a number of problems. In particular, regarding admission to the college of the Olympic Reserve and UzGUFKiS. But we will consider all the problems together and find a solution," said the head of the NOC.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the effective use of new facilities being built for the Tashkent-2025 Asian Youth Games, their use for further popularization of sports. The head of the NOC also called on everyone to take an active part in the upcoming presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
