The first gold of the World Weightlifting Championships
As part of the World Junior Championship, which takes place in Saudi Arabia, the Uzbek national team won its first gold.
Dierbek Ermatov (-73 kg) lifted 132 kg in the snatch exercise and was awarded a gold medal. However, he made a mistake in the push exercise and could not win a prize. In total, Ermatov gained 278 kg and took fifth place.
