A meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation was held
As we previously reported, the World Junior Weightlifting Championships will start tomorrow in Saudi Arabia. Today, before the start of the tournament, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation was held.
During the event, organizational issues of the World Championship among adults, which will be held in December in Tashkent, were discussed in detail. It was also noted that the elections for the post of head of the organization, which take place every four years, will be held on the eve of the World Championship in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the first deputy chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Khairullo Mahmudov met with the head of the Federation of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Al Harbi and had a conversation about strengthening cooperation between the federations of the two countries. At the end of the meeting, Shakhrullo Mahmudov presented Muhammad Al Harbi with memorable gifts from the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan.
