Congratulations to Tahir Gulyamov and Rasuljon Abdurakhimov!
Today, two representatives of Uzbek sports: Tohir Gulyamov, a judge of the international wrestling category, and Rasuljon Abdurakhimov, a gymnast, celebrate their birthday.
Tokhir Gulyamov was born on October 3, 1961. Since 2001, he has been a judge of the Olympic category. During his professional career, he participated in the Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and was a referee at the World Championships 23 times, 22 times at the Asian Championships and 6 times at the Asian Games. In 2014, he was the winner of the UWW's highest judicial award "Golden Whistle". Tohir Gulyamov at the ceremony of awarding the "National Sports Award — 2019" became the winner in the nomination "Best judge of the Year".
Abdurakhimov Rasuljon Shukhratovich was born on October 3, 1996 in Fergana. He graduated from the Republican College of the Olympic Reserve. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Uzbekistan national gymnastics team. Participant of Asian and World Championships. In October 2019, he won a license for the Olympic Games in Tokyo thanks to the World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart (Germany) and became a participant in Tokyo 2020.
