Tokyo 2020 results and a new strategy in the context of the Tashkent region
Meetings organized by the NOC and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports on the results of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, preparations for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris continue. A similar event was organized with representatives of the Tashkent region.
The event was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, deputy khokim of the Tashkent region, head of the Main Department of Tourism and Sports D.bAbazhanov.
At the beginning of the conversation, the number of athletes in the region who have won licenses for the Olympic Games, as well as their participation in competitions, was analyzed. Olympic champions Akbar Juraev and Bahodir Jalolov are pupils of the Chirchik school. It should be noted that the College of the Olympic Reserve, located in this area, and UzGUFKiS are the main centers where athletes of our national teams study.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on preparations for the upcoming competitions, while making the most of all opportunities and avoiding mistakes that were observed in the Tokyo 2020 cycle, as well as regularly learning about the social status of our athletes.
