Cooperation with Russian figure skating schools is being strengthened
Chairman of the Winter Sports Association of Uzbekistan Iskander Shadiyev is currently on a working visit to Moscow. During the visit, I. Shadiyev and the Secretary General of the Association, Sherzod Asatulloev, met with the Director General of the Russian Figure Skating Federation, Alexander Kogan, and discussed long-term plans.
During the conversation, both sides expressed that they were very happy to continue bilateral cooperation between the countries in the field of sports. Also, plans for the development of figure skating in Uzbekistan were discussed.
It's no secret that the Russian figure skating school is one of the leaders in the world. The discussion focused on the use of the Russian methodology in the preparation of our athletes for the upcoming Winter Olympic and Asian Games, as well as other important complex competitions, as well as to increase the popularity of this sport in our country. At the end of the meeting, Iskander Shadiyev thanked Alexander Kogan for the warm welcome and presented gifts.
