The President of the International Paralympic Committee, Andrew Parsons, has arrived in our country at the invitation of the Chairman of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Mukhtorkhon Tashkhodzhayev.
Chairman of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan Mukhtorkhon Taskhodjaev, First Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avaz Karimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kassymov and media representatives met the guest of honor at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov. In turn, Andrew Parsons expressed his joy that his first visit to Uzbekistan began warmly and sincerely.
We remind you that the visit of the President of the International Paralympic Committee will last until October 2. During his stay, it is planned to hold a number of official meetings with the aim of developing the Paralympic movement in Uzbekistan.
