A cultural event was held in the NOC in honor of the Day of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language
In connection with the significant date, namely, the Day of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language, which is widely celebrated on October 21 in all corners of our country, events have begun. One of them was organized at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
The event was opened by famous representatives of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater, People's Artists of Uzbekistan Yedgor Sadiyev, Gavkhar Zokova, Zukhra Ashurova. The holiday was organized jointly with the NOC and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine.
First of all, the works of Hazrat Alisher Navoi were read out, then episodes from Oybek's novel "Navoi" were shown.
After that, the staff of the Center read poems by our favorite poets, such as Khurshid Davron, Muhammad Yusuf about the rich Uzbek language. A special feature of the event was given by a scene about a mother who sang "alla" (lullaby).
In conclusion, the head of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, spoke about the reforms carried out by the President to further strengthen the status of the Uzbek language, paying attention to the spiritual and educational spheres, and suggested organizing such events as much as possible.
