CIS Games: the delegation of Uzbekistan finished the competition in second place with 91 medals

The CIS Games, held for the first time in Kazan, Russian Federation, have come to an end. The delegation of Uzbekistan that participated in it took the second place in the team competition with 91 medals.

Our compatriots won 23 gold, 32 silver and 36 bronze medals, winning a total of 91 medals. This was the second indicator after the host Russian team. In the competitions held on the last day, our representatives rose to the podium in such sports as karate, rhythmic gymnastics, and futsal. It includes athletes who have risen to the podium:

Gold Medal: Dildora Alikulova (karate).

Silver medal: Iroda Sadykova, Domenika Damirov, Aida Haidarova, Mubina Kamolova (in team competitions, rhythmic gymnastics), Nasibabona Narbayeva (karate), Mokhlaroim Khakimzhonova (karate).

Bronze medal: Anastasia Saranseva (2nd place: in competitions on straps and hoops, rhythmic gymnastics), Islamjon Sattorov (karate), Bonu Egamberdieva (karate), Sevinch Sadykova and Diana Garamova (badminton, pair) futsal team.
