Our taekwondo pair Gulzhanoy Naimova beautifully completed the participation of the Uzbek delegation at the Paralympics in Tokyo. In the fight against the representative of Brazil, Naimova won.
In an uncompromising fight, Naimova did not leave any chances to her opponent and won the gold medal. It should be noted that Gulzhanoy Naimova became the last representative of the national team of Uzbekistan, which defended the honor of the country at the Tokyo Paralympics. A few minutes ago, our para-athlete Muhammad Rekhsimov took sixth place in the shot put (F61).
Thus, the delegation of Uzbekistan won 19 medals (8 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze) at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan congratulates all our compatriots, the National Paralympic Committee and all representatives of the national team on this result.
