Our compatriot was 1 cm short of a medal
Another day of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics has begun. A few minutes ago, the final among women in para-athletics (shot put, category F35) ended.
Our compatriot Dilafruz Akhmadkhonova took the 4th place, with a result of 8.59 m. It should be noted that only 1 cm was not enough for her bronze. Anna Luxova from the Czech Republic, who won the 3rd place, set a score of 8.60 m.
Also, our para-canoeist Aziz Abdulkhabibov reached the semifinals, para-taekwondo athlete Ziyoda Isakova (-49 kg) successfully held the first stage. Unfortunately, Zukhriddin Tohirov (-61 kg) was defeated in the first fight.
