Boburjon Omonov-champion and record holder of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
We start the new week with good news! A few minutes ago, our representative in para-athletics, Boburjon Omonov, took part in the shot put (category F41).
It is noteworthy that with the result of 14.06 m, Omonov not only won the gold medal, but also updated the Paralympic record.
It should be noted that the world record holder in this direction is also Boburjon Omonov. At the World Championships in the UAE, he managed to set a score of 14.31 m.
Thus, the number of medals in the treasury of the delegation of Uzbekistan became 13 (5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze).
