13 athletes were awarded badges "Mehnat Fakhriysi" of the first degree
Today, at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, 13 selfless people who have devoted their lives to the development of Uzbek sports for many years were awarded badges “Mehnat Fakhriysi”.
The event is organized jointly with the Nuroniy Foundation. It was attended by IOC Chairman Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Deputy Chairmen of the Nurony Foundation Sharof Ubaydullayev and Shukhrat Usmanov, Chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov and a group of sports figures.
At the beginning of the event, the audience was shown a documentary film dedicated to the 30th anniversary of our independence. It describes the main achievements of our country in the field of sports for the period from the beginning of the last century to the present. Then Sharof Ubaidullayev made a speech about the significance of the event, about the cooperation of the two organizations. Then 13 athletes who gave most of their lives to the country's sports were awarded badges “Veteran of labor” I degree and memorable gifts of the NOC.
At the end of the event, Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov spoke about the great attention paid by the president of our country to sports, about the role of our veterans in today's achievements.
It should be noted that this badge was established in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-3133 of 2017. On the reverse side you can see the inscription "For many years of conscientious work". This badge is established at 3 levels. Today, sports veterans were awarded badges of the 1st degree.
